This design/build project is located at the Daivdconville Wildlife Sanctuary through the partnership of the South River Federation. The objective of this project was to enhance the aesthetics of the sanctuary while also creating a series of sand seepage wetlands to infiltrate pollutants before traveling to Beard’s Creek. The design included five weirs and 6 step pools, ¬†which restored 527.9 feet of stream, established 0.53 acres of forested wetland, and created 1.1 acres of wetland.
