Severna Park, MD
This site restores the historic community beach and tidal marsh in the community of Manhattan Beach. Regenerative Storm Channel (RSC) techniques are used to harness tidewater energy to cast sand back on shore. The project also replaces an asphalt swale at the street-end park with RSC. This treats stormwater runoff from 10 acres of impervious surfaces otherwise running directly into the Magothy River.
